Baekun Art Hall

Located within Gwangyang Steelworks, Baekun Art Hall helps POSCO serve the local community as a corporate citizen.
In 1992, POSCO unveiled this two-story concert hall to provide POSCO staff, their family and local residents free access to diverse performances. With seating capacity of 1,101 including 13 accessible seats, the Hall has presented classical, theatrical, musical, dance and traditional Korean music performances, as well as highly acclaimed films.
Since 2013, as part of POSCO¡¯s social responsibility initiative, Baekun Art Hall has provided a free venue for talented groups and individuals to stage their own shows. Reopening after a renovation in 2018, the Hall can now seat 801 people, with 8 accessible seats, and offers a pleasant and welcoming environment.
