POSCO STEELEON was formerly known as Pohang Galvanized Steel Sheet. We began business in 1988 and merged in 1999 with Pohang Steel, a color coated steel plate manufacturer. Today, we are a plated and color coated steel plates manufacturer. Our business continues to evolve; we specialize in surface treatment to produce diverse offerings, such as aluminum-plated and aluminum-zinc alloy-plated sheets, and INFINeLI, a color coated sheet that offers more design and color options. POSCO M-TECH started as a steel packaging company in 1973, and based on its accumulated expertise and technology, the company is pioneering in the fields of steel product packaging, packaging equipment engineering and steel raw materials production.

When Nippon Steel proposed a JV with POSCO to apply the RHF (Rotary Hearth Furnace) technology, POSCO accepted. That is how PNR was established in 2008. PNR is a steel byproduct recycling company that uses dust and water treatment sludge collected from the steelmaking process to manufacture direct reduced iron (DRI) and hot briquetted iron (HBI).

SNNC was jointly established with POSCO and SMSP, the largest nickel exporter in New Caledonia, in 2006, and it is Korea¡¯s first specialized ferronickel manufacturer, engaged in producing and selling ferronickel, the main component of stainless steel, as well as other byproducts.
The company successfully completed its first plant with annual production of 30,000 tons in 2008, and subsequently built a second plant with its own technology in 2015, which has helped it grow and develop into a global company in the world.

POSCO PS-Tech was launched in June 2023 as a steel machinery and equipment maintenance company for POSCO¡¯s Pohang Steel Works.
